David Wadler — CEO
David leads Twistage's business development and sales efforts. He has a broad range of experience in the software world, ranging from start-ups to Fortune 500. During the dot-com era, he led evangelism and partner marketing efforts at Zapspot.com, an online gaming company. David has experience on the technical side of the business as well, having served as a technical lead and engineer while developing consumer applications such as test prep software and games. In Paris, France, he consulted for Computer Associates, developing an enterprise management integration solution for BNP Paribas. David graduated from Brown University with a degree in economics.
David Wegman — CTO
An accomplished engineer and team leader, David heads the development team at Twistage. Prior to Twistage, he spent years creating software and content distribution solutions for Marimba, Inc. Most recently, David led a software group that completely rewrote Marimba's flagship inventory management product. His work is currently deployed on 25 million endpoints worldwide and at several Fortune 100 companies. David graduated from Brown University with degrees in both computer science and political science.
Bruce Wang — Director of Technology
Bruce is responsible for Twistage's backend technology, bringing enterprise class scalability and stability to the platform. Previously, he served as a technical lead at Marimba, Inc. Bruce and his team were responsible for shipping several important revisions of Marimba's server management product offering, a highly scalable, reliable solution for managing thousands of servers in a heterogeneous environment. He graduated from the University of Michigan at Ann Arbor with a degree in computer engineering.
John L. Ayers — Board of Directors
John Ayers was most recently VP, Strategy & Business Development at AOL for Broadband, Premium and Developer Services. From 2001-2003, Mr. Ayers was Vice President, Investments & Acquisitions at AOL. During this time, he successfully led acquisitions in the communications, digital content and infrastructure areas. Before his work at AOL, Mr. Ayers was a Senior Associate specializing in technology M&A and venture capital at the law firm of O'Sullivan, Graev & Karabell in New York from 1991-1995. Mr. Ayers holds an M.B.A. and J.D. from Georgetown University and is a graduate of Brown University with a B.A. in History (with Honors) and Economics.
David Katz — Board of Directors
David Katz is a partner at Sterling Equities, which he joined in 1987. Mr. Katz has developed commercial and residential properties, overseen condominium conversions, and evaluates acquisition opportunities. Mr. Katz also presides over Sterling's non-real estate affiliate company Changing World Technologies (CWT), where he sits as a board member. Mr. Katz is also a board member of Renewable Environmental Solutions, the New York Mets and various philanthropic organizations. Mr. Katz received a Bachelor of Arts Degree from Hofstra University.
Christopher J. Steele — Board of Directors
Chris Steele is a practicing corporate and venture capital attorney. Mr. Steele is a consultant and general counsel to Ranieri & Co., Inc., which is controlled by Wall Street pioneer Lewis S. Ranieri. Since October 2000, Mr. Steele has been the general counsel and a partner in the private equity funds managed by Ranieri, better known as Hyperion Partners. Prior to joining Ranieri, Mr. Steele was an associate at a Garden City, N.Y. law firm and was general counsel for a closely-held real estate and environmental company. Mr. Steele is also a consultant of Debt Resolve, Inc., SearchMyLoan.com, Inc., SeaAd LLC and Long Island Swimming. Mr. Steele holds a B.S. from Cornell University and a J.D. from Hofstra University School of Law.
